The design mantra at Apiece Apart is "can she wear it at least once a week?" The clothes don’t wear you – you wear the clothes. This has been core to their design ethos from the beginning. We design collections that are beautiful and simple. Apiece Apart is guided by a deep social and environmental conscience, and we make business decisions that prioritize people and the planet. Since 2015, our APIECE APART WOMAN series has shared their stories, featuring over 150 women from around the world – women who are visionaries, entrepreneurs, artists, designers, authors, ceramicists, philanthropists and more.

Beatrice Valenzuela is a visual artist and designer based in Los Angeles, California. Her eponymous line of shoes, clothing and accessories are a direct reflection of her uniquely visceral and sensual perception of the surrounding world. With a spirited passion for travel, family, and cuisine, Beatrice Valenzuela intends to emulate the essence of vitality, beauty and simplicity in all of her collections, akin to the feelings experienced in life's most exquisite of moments. Leigh Miller is a collection of fine, contemporary jewelry designed by Leigh Miller Newman in Los Angeles, California. The Leigh Miller collection is hand-formed pieces are created with care and immense attention to detail, form, and feel. A selection of pieces in the collection also feature ethically sourced semi-precious stones and hand-cast glass. Each collection is inspired by facets of nature, experience, and travel. Shaina Mote considers the design process a living “circular” organism rather than a straight line, designing waste out of their system by minimizing what’s unnecessary in every step; choosing organic and biodegradable fibers; and implementing a creative use and reuse of their materials. Keeping their team small and production local, and strives to create strong, long-term relationships that are rooted in respect.
